Ethno-mountaineering at the International Adventure Conference 2019-

The conference was located in Laggan Outdoor Centre providing the perfect setting for such a diverse and thought provoking event. The theme challenged speakers and delegates to consider sustainability in an adventure context. I met in person, for the first time, Dr Adele Doran our discussion led to coining the phrase ethnomountaineering.
